Little Miss and Mr. Firecracker

Children must be 5 years old by June 1, 2024
Children must not be older than 8 years old by June 1, 2024
Children must live within the CUSD #1 district
The two winners will be determined by who collects the biggest dollar amount in donations
Contestants may collect donations between June 1 and June 30
Contestants may want to contact local businesses for sponsorships, and may also host fundraisers like bake sales, lemonade stands, etc.
The boy and girl with the most collected will be named Little Miss and Mr. Firecracker, all children will receive a commemorative ribbon for participating
There will be counting booths at city hall where the parents can turn in the contestants earnings on July 1st
The winners will be announced during the Concert at the Morton Park on July 3rd. Winners will then ride in the parade the following day, receiving their crowns.
All proceeds are used to fund events for future Red White and Blue Days.
